Introducing MedM Health Cloud, a new Balance Rewards Integration

Walgreens is happy to announce that MedM Health Cloud has now integrated the Balance Rewards API! You can connect to our Balance Rewards API via their website: https://health.medm.com/en/help/walgreens

MedM has built a healthy activity cloud platform, allowing users to track everything from step tracking to blood glucose / pressure monitoring! Walgreens is happy to bring in an integration that stores healthy activities from over 200 connected devices. You can even download their MedM Health App from Android, iOS, Windows, or even Blackberry and start tracking healthy activities today!

We at Walgreens are very excited to announce an easier way to start using our Photo Prints API! With the Run in Postman button below you can simply do a couple of clicks and make a sample request to our staging server!

Introducing myEmerg, a vast integration with Walgreens APIs

Walgreens is happy to announce that the latest version of the myEmerg iOS app (v1.1.4) has integrated both the Store Locator and Balance Rewards APIs!

It is always exciting to see a partner app integrate two API’s in a seamless manner and we are very happy with the customer experience that myEmerg delivers. The application has all sorts of neat features that make it fun to chat with your trusted health network so that you can get answers to health questions that matter to you!

The app includes features such as:

Find the closest pharmacies, hospitals, urgent cares, vaccination places, gyms, spas, beauty salons, based on your location.
Syncs with multiple data providers to get your personal health information in one, easy to read dashboard.
Also, a unique feature allowing users to reach emergency services anywhere in the world!
Finally, and of course our favorite feature :), is by importing your healthy activities you can start earning Walgreens Balance Rewards points and much more.

Introducing 4x6 Prints, 10-second prints via Photo Prints API

Walgreens is happy to announce our newest Photo Prints API integration fresh from the kitchen of Lasso Media, Inc. The 4x6 Prints, can be found on the Apple App Store!

4x6 Prints was built out of necessity to take your precious moments and quickly get them to print at any Walgreens store. Now, don't be fooled by the name, the application offers the ability to print any of the standard (4x6,5x7,8x10) or square (4x4,8x8) print products. Their minimalist user experience makes printing photos quick and easy! Their application was recently hunted on Product Hunt and the feedback has been outstanding!

"After evaluating every iOS print SDK I could find, I chose Walgreens due to its clean API, its helpful developer support team, and the sheer number of Walgreens stores across the US that my users would be able to print to and pickup in a hour," says Chad Podoski, Co-founder, Lasso Media, Inc. We're going to Evans Data Conference 2016

It’s that time of year again for us to head out to Palo Alto and take part in the annual Evan’s Data Developer Relations Conference! This year we will have our developer evangelist, Drew Schweinfurth, talk about "Creating enduring partnerships that inspire loyalty” during the Developer Bootcamp session on Sunday, March 20th.

Last year we had a great learning and teaching experience! Seeing all the developer evangelists and advocates helped us gain a better understanding of how each others programs operate. We look forward to the rewarding conversations we will be having at this years conference, where we will be digging down into the trenches of developer evangelism.

We plan to make two new announcements that we’re very proud of as we continue to grow our developer program. Please stay tuned either remotely or come hangout with us at the event!

Introducing Roche, a new Balance Rewards API Integration

Walgreens is very excited to announce that a long time partner, Roche has added their myriad of devices into our Balance Rewards API ecosystem.

With Roche’s Accu-Chek Connect application customers can connect compatible devices with their Walgreens Balance Rewards account and start earning points today! Access the full list of compatible devices on Roche’s website: https://www.accu-chek.com/microsites/connect/index.html

Roche has sold their devices through our stores for years and we think this integration builds on an amazing partnership. Their portal gives access to Accu-Chek Blood Glucose device readings which can be redeemed for Balance Rewards points via our Balance Rewards API.

Hello World, We have some announcements

The Walgreens Developer Program team has been hard at work over the last few months working on some new and exciting updates to our API platform.

We are happy to begin announcing our new integrations that have worked hard over the last few months to get their applications integrated. Please look forward to these over the next couple days.

We are extremely happy to let everyone know about the awesome feature enhancements and new APIs that we will be rolling out by the end of this month:

Native Photo Prints API:
We are working diligently on some upgrades to our Native Photo Prints API. Keep looking for these changes as we have more news coming over the next month.

^NewStore Locator API _beta:
The massive onslaught of feedback and comments have finally been addressed. We are finally able to offer a dedicated Store Locator API! This API is fresh out of the oven from our developer team, and we are calling it a beta version but we are making it publicly available and will get the documentation up on the developer portal later this week.

^NewDigital Offers API _beta:
We are also excited to give access for everyone to display Walgreens Digital Offers in their applications! Allowing your users to take advantage of coupons and offerings directly in the user experience and clip them to their Balance Rewards account! This is also a beta API and we look forward to seeing it grow as the community adopts it. The documentation for this API will be public later this month on the developer portal.
