Walgreens is happy to announce that GenieMD is now integrated with the Balance Rewards API. In doing so, GenieMD is our first integration to include both the Prescription Refill and Balance Rewards APIs. The integration can be accessed with the latest GenieMD app for iPhone and Android.
Through the use of analytics, curated medical content, and an individual’s health data, GenieMD provides answers to personal health questions while providing periodic and highly targeted health recommendations.
According to Dr. Soheil Saadat, CEO of GenieMD, "We are pleased to offer the Walgreens Balance Reward Program to our expanding user base. Our users will now be rewarded for healthy behavior such as walking, running and by measuring weight, blood pressure or glucose levels with Walgreens points that they can redeem when purchasing items with Walgreens in-store or online.”
