GenieMD: A New Balance Rewards API Integration
Walgreens is happy to announce that GenieMD is now integrated with the Balance Rewards API. In doing so, GenieMD is our first integration to include both the Prescription Refill and Balance Rewards APIs. The integration can be accessed with the latest GenieMD app for iPhone and Android.
Through the use of analytics, curated medical content, and an individual’s health data, GenieMD provides answers to personal health questions while providing periodic and highly targeted health recommendations.
According to Dr. Soheil Saadat, CEO of GenieMD, "We are pleased to offer the Walgreens Balance Reward Program to our expanding user base. Walgreens is excited to announce a Balance Rewards API integration with the Lose It! application on their iPhone, iPad and Android apps, as well on the Lose It! website.
Lose It! is a health and fitness activity tracking company whose applications have over 30 million downloads and 5 million monthly active users who have lost a total of over 33 million pounds since Lose It! started in 2008. Lose It! has launched an integration with Balance Rewards on their iPhone, iPad, Android Phone and Web platforms. Within their “Apps & Devices” section, you can connect your Lose It! account with your Walgreens Balance Rewards to achieve points for the healthy activities you are logging within the Lose It! app.

Introducing HoMedics: A New Balance Rewards Integration
Walgreens is happy to announce a Balance Rewards API integration with the HoMedics application for iPhone, iPad and Android.
HoMedics allows you to sync, transmit and be reminded to take your blood bressure readings from your HoMedics premium blood pressure monitor or manually add your own with this helpful tracking app. Wirelessly transmit and store your readings on your mobile device, access advanced averaging that compares to cues given by the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) and sync to your Walgreens account to receive Balance Rewards points for checking your blood pressure!
